RE: COVID-19 – As an essential business we are open regular hours M-F 8am to 5pm
First and foremost, we hope you are staying well. With the current health crisis unfolding, it is most important to us at F.J. Chard & Son, Inc. to protect our family and yours. The services we provide are essential to many people and we are committed to continuing to serve our customers in a safe and responsible manner. We are taking additional steps to protect all of us. Here are the most recent updates:
- As an essential business, we are open regular business hours, 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
- We will be exercising social distancing. Please do the same. This includes avoiding shaking hands.
- We are increasing hand washing and use of hand sanitizer.
- We are routinely disinfecting surfaces in vans and office, and using safety equipment like masks, rubber gloves and shoe coverings.
- We’ve asked our employees to make a more conscious effort to shield coughs and sneezes.
- Any employees feeling ill will be required to stay home. We ask our customers with a fever or those feeling sick to postpone or reschedule service work.
We believe it’s important to remain open, servicing customers with plumbing and heating needs, we also believe it is our responsibility to help avoid spreading this virus.
